The details are wonderful, like the veins in the leaves (so sharply captured) and the shadows made by the leaves covering sections of each other with the sun shining through.
There's something very autumnal about this with the burnt red colours and sunlight coming through from behind.

Yeah, I was considering not submitting it until autumn, but then I figured there'd be a massive influx of orangy-red leafy pics then, so I got in early!
