Artist's Comments .. I've been listning to New moon soundtrack and it gave me inspiration to make this (:.
Again i tried a new technique with my manes & tails, and i think i actually like them a little better so i shall be using this technique quite alot for my mane's & tail's.
I wanted to add a cool blue glow to the markings i added onto the horse & then i decided to add strands off that colour in, which i think turned out ok.

very pretty, very pretty. As for critique, I'd say it looks a tad like the horse was shrunk horizontally, also the upper foreleg seems a bit over trimmed, esp. the hoof. I know that part can be really tough for me, I hate dealing with hooves out of the ground.

Gorgeous work. I love the mane, you're getting so good at those. The only thing that bugs me on this one is the line outlining the horse's cheek. It just seems a little too bright on this one and takes away from the rest of the horse. I think if it was just a tad bit darker then it would look great.

ok since you asked for my opinion, i can offer a few suggestions.. overall its a lovely composition. buut..i would make the horse smaller, it seems unrealistically big for the way the bg looks in perspective (i have trouble w/ this myself). then i know your style is a lot of sketch-like painting, and while its unique maybe you could try going over the horse coat and hair with the smudge tool? this would blend your paint strokes into the rest of the hair better. and i can see where you paint the horse's coat, try using a bigger smudge brush at 15% strength so the smudging is not so sharp, but more smooth and flowing - and i would do it all over the horse's coat, not just some areas cause the difference is visible. i do like the shape of the hair, and the blue streaks are cool :] just try to smudge them in smoother, so they look more polished. thats all just my critique, hope it helps a bit

yeh sure i will have a go at everything you pointed out, I did smudge the horses coat, but because of the diffrent lighting on the actual horse i couldn't get all the smudging to show.

I love the manes and tale, but i don't like the head of the horse. Maybe you should put a horse with his head in front of here
