Overall, I do like this sort of art style. I recommend that you make a greater effort to stay inside of the lines or go back when you're finished and clean up the art. Another thing I recommend is keeping the outlines of the characters a bit thinner/lighter... It's a bit distracting. I also think you should use a more diverse color pallet. In the picture, the skin tones, shoe color, hair color, and pupil color are uniform (exactly the same) when in reality, they should probably differ from each other slightly. All in all, you did a great job, just a few things you could work on.

Even though I agree with most of this, um...you said shoe color, but they're not wearing shoes??? They're standing on logs or whatever, though that still should have a different color of course!

The style is OK, it's unique to every artist. However, keep the blush and highlights inside the lines? It's just a bit distracting. Also, some of your lining is coloured while some of it is black. Using both black and coloured outlining could also be a bit distracting. Choose one or the other and it will come out fine. Also try making the lining a bit smoother, its a bit messy. But overall the picture is pretty good, just needs a few improvements here and there. I hope I wasn't too harsh, just trying to help :3
