- Toxic: Aspen spits some of the long-spoiled berry muck onto the opponent, poisoning them

History: Aspen spent his entire life on the shore living in a ramshackle hut, foraging for leaves and berries. In time, his parents, friends, and neighbours either passed away or moved to more civilized areas of the world. As such, Aspen spent most of his adult life alone. One day approached by some distant relatives, he agreed to take care of Lily. He was very happy to have her company. And although she was a handful, Aspen didn't have any other responsibilities and thus had plenty of time to look after her. Unfortunately for Aspen, his home was eventually struck by a disaster. With no more food and shelter, he was forced to move away.

Personality: Aspen is very old and quite slow, but takes pride in looking after Lily. He has a gentle personality and prefers to keep the peace. He knows a lot about the local fauna, and with the use of his shell he can turn even poisonous leaves and berries into refreshing drinks. Although he is also quite intelligent, he has lived a secluded life and missed out on what a lot of Pokemon would consider common knowledge. This in turn makes him anxious when outside the comfort of his home's environment. He claims this is because he must keep Lily safe from unknown dangers, but that is only part of the reason for his worries.

Other:
- Aspen uses his shell to make drinks out of leaves and berries
- Although the drinks stay good for a long while, some go rotten and are used for Toxic or Sticky Web
- Aspen will gladly share his drinks with those in need, though some Pokemon would rather find a more... sanitary source of food
- Although he is not Lily's real father, he adores her calling him "pops"
