One thing that really hit me is that if I stare at the center...it starts to recede, just like an optical illusion (or maybe i'm just nuts LOL)!!!

I'm sad to say that I no longer have the original of this, because of a harddrive crash.
so I'm unable to reproduce it in anyway.
The only thing I can offer you is what DA sells as prints. If you go to the picture and click on "buy this print" i believe the largest size is 10" by 10"
However, If I'm able to one day reproduce it again (though this is unlikely) I'll let you know and render it at a very large quality.

awww, that's rough brother. well, if you're having to make new work anyway, I'm looking to produce a line a huge prints to market to fire dancers and poi spinners as visual aids for object manipulation; would that be something you'd be willing to do some work for?

yes, that's something I'd definitely be interested in doing, I think it's a great idea.
I don't know much about fire dancing or poi spinning, but I'm definitely willing to learn.
What type of fractals are you looking for? Or are you aiming for a general style or theme?

I'm really very curious about the effects of a wide variety of them, actually, ranging from extremely simple repeating cicles, like a torus, to the very complex ones that you fractal artists produce. I'm curious how the geometry of a large print influences spinning in front of it.
