I cannot begin to describe how elated I am that this mission is finished and everyone is back safely. Our final animal we rescued from the third mission of Operation Noah's Ark comes is truly magnificent. A massive 19ft long male Megalania. The rescue-op was actually fairly straight-forward on our end, albeit a bit terrifying. Now this big male is resting in the holding pen before we move him out to his house later in the afternoon. I've gotta say, it looks so peaceful now that he's not chasing us down.

More proof that PMP is not dead, here's a pic from the final part of the current episode. I took a brief visit to my zoo and saw a Emerald Tree Monitor resting on the bottom of his terrarium. And I know that both the Megalania and a Emerald Tree Monitor two couldn't be further apart, but I just got inspired and, on a whim, added this scene into the story. Really love making pics like this. Other than say artbyjrc 's varanid depiction and WDGHK 's work on this animal almost every pic of Megalania is that of a running, chomping or gaping monster. When THIS is probably how it spent most of its days. Either digesting its prey or y'know being rescued from Pleistocene Queensland.
