Question, when you make your bookmarks, are they actually usable? Doesn't the paint wear off and page dog ear?
It seems like a fun project to try myself, but I'd hate to put all that work into something to have it tear. That would be heartbreaking.

There is a clear plastic like cover you can put over the bookmarks called laminate. I used to have a friend whose dad worked in a factory that made rolls of the stuff. It's sticky and you just lay the paper on top of one sheet and put another sheet on top of that and cut out the shape of your paper. Easy peasy!
