The power armor I used was the T-45. The first Power Armor in honor of Michael Daly. The first power armor I upgraded to the max and with custom attachments on the pieces as well.

In honesty I preferred the T-60 over the t-51 or X-01 but there are a ton of mods done by mod authors for the T-51 an X-01 but not many mods for the T-60.
