I HAVE made more progress since this was taken... The blades are now fully detailed and awaiting polishing, which I am not looking forward to. Going to start dummy assembling the release/retract next...Related content

Yes, the blades are made from stainless steel, the body is aluminum, as is the rest of the device, as this picture is quite old, I should post some updated ones some time.
