Okay, this is't a great drawing and neither was coloured particularly well. However I liked the concept and when I inked it, my pen nib snapped so the linart was really clumbsy. I felt I had to colour it in order to distract from the lines before I could submit it. Therefore there's no background. I couldn't be bothered to be honest.

There is a huge story behind this...if you're reading my fanfic "With Arms Wide Open" the following paragraph is going to be a major spoiler...if you don't want to find out what happens don't read.

Well, Millerna fell pregnant before Dryden left, but she couldn't find the words to tell him because she didn't know how he'd take it, as he was going off to war.

While the troops move into war, they march through a thick forrest, unable to avoid it. In the proccess there is an ambush. Dryden is dragged from his horse and pulled off into the woods as other beast men engage Dryden's troops. Dryden is abandoned in the confusing, the beast men believing him dead.

Allen sends out a search party to find Dryden but they come back empty-handed. (Dryden is not dead, but that's another story). Allen is then left with the awful task of returning to Asturia to tell Millerna. At this point Hitomi and Celena are staying and keeping Millerna company during her last months of pregnancy.

When Allen delivers his message, Millerna can't handle the news. She goes into labour prematurely. This is the scene. Allen manages to catch her just before she hits the ground.

Hopefully I'll write it a bit better than I did surmising it lol. I haven't forgotten about the story, I think about it almost everyday and I hope to finish it this summer, so keep your eyes peeled ^^

Anyway, yes, I did chop Allen's hair off....so sue me!
