From the shadows of absence, I return to the luminous screen, a window to the interwebs. Through the unopened notes and the haphazard heap of comments, images and journals, I can only move forward from here. Stay tuned, my pens, paints and pencils haven't been idle in my prolonged absence, although hopefully pushing towards something better.

I remember that I really loved the way you had drawn wings in a previous artwork of yours (this one ), so I'm really glad to see even more visible and detailed wings from you ! This artwork is really inspiring, all her body indeed conveys a feeling of ascension !

This one is wonderful too, I have praised your coloring before but after finding this one I have to say that your black and white pieces are beautiful too.

Link doesn't work but I think I know which on you're referring too. I'm actually really happy how I finally seemed to be getting better grasp on wings, as I truly admire their form. There will definitely be more wings in the future. In the meantime, I've been debating whether or not to try to color this one digitally or leave it as it is...

I'm here for mission to.... nahhh just kidding~ I had the tag-word "free" from the tagline in
I choose this one because on my first impression, i saw this artwork pretty much describe "free"
The wings are describing the word free itself. well, to me wings are symbol of freedom.
I think this artwork is fantastic!
The wings are beautifully drawn, and i just love those shading details on each feathers. And her pose is really neat~ She is like just open the window and ready to fly~
I think the perspective is pretty good, but still need to polish. the right window seems a little bit unnatural because it's skewed. Especially in the bottom part. I understand very well because this artwork is ruler - free, so we can't draw a perfect straight line ^^
The pavements are looks distorted too. I really like her hair, but it would be great if you add more shading~
Your texture shading is great. They're describing each materials. I like those folds in her clothes, you have good sense of wind here ^^
Overall this artwork is awesome, keep it up ^^

Thank you for your comment. Yeah I perspective is still something I'm wrestling with.The window was planned but I spent way too much time on the subject again and not enough time thinking about the space they occupied.

What a nice way to return! Personally, the shading of the platform was, strangely, the most eye catching part of the artwork! The gradient looks really smooth and transitional, and gosh the wings! The way you drew them makes them appear almost 3-D! 😆 also, love the dress folds! You never go wrong with those!

It definitely has the highest contrast. I tried to create the illusion of a back lighting, from a winged woman exiting a brightly lit interior into a darker environment but lost my way around the rest of the building. 
As for the dress fold... I don't know about that but I'm most certainly happy with how they came out here. Thank you!
