(2009 Dec) This is my third plush dragon to date, my first sold one, the first one coloured and also the one I am most proud of so far. This was a commission for Methanoos/Lisen at DA/EW who gave it as a Christmaspresent to Shideh (also on DA). It is supposed to be her dragon character as seen here: [link]Shideh is a small silver dragon with a glowing tail puff. Here she lies on my bed and looks cute.
This took me about 20-30 hours over a few weeks to make. The hardest part was the tail which is different from my earlier dragons and much harder to make. I have added the hair strand by strand! It took forever and much cursing!
This is based on 's pattern. I have made some changes to the original pattern though. Mainly the wings, ears, back spikes and tail. I used silver cloth, glass eyes and silver glittering yarn for the tail. It's mostly hand sewn with a machine, but also by hand and needle.

Aw, if I saw a dragon plushie like this in the store, I would totally buy one. XD Failing that, I'd almost be willing to try and make one myself. And then I remember that all I know how to do when it comes to sewing is fix a button that's come off...

450 SEK + shipping. I dunno how much that is at the moment in USD. It keeps changing all the time. I do changes to the pattern according to the buyers wishes. Horns, spikes, different tails, varying eye colours etc.
To make it myself... hmm... the time and fabrics. So it varies depending on what you buy really. Some 200 SEK maybe.

Hmm, well something like this is definitely worth 450 (though who knows how much the shipping would be... O.O), but I'd have to think about it. Besides, I don't even know what colours or patterns I'd want to have (not like I have any OCs to base it on lol). As much as I'd love to have one, perhaps it would be better at this point to wait. Could make it a birthday gift or something.

I could check what the shipping would be "around" if you like. I have a boxed dragon sitting here on a shelf so I could take it to the post office and ask them. But then I'd need to know where to "ship it" first.
Anyway, if you want me to check the approx shipping cost, just tall me. And try out some colours and see what you think would be nice. I'll still be here if you'd want a dragon later.

I should think the shipping would be the same for most places in the world, once you get far enough away from home. North America is probably all the same shipping cost, for example. I don't have much experience with sending stuff across the world, though.

Well, it's tricky somtimes. But the dragon pattern wasn't that hard. But then I do a lot by hand. The machine is too fast... which causes mistakes to happen for me.
