Brushing off the ashes from his pelt; Galileo frowned, wondering what dangers could have happened to his little Familiar. But as if in answer, he heard a quiet chirp and a soft weight resting on his antlers. Looking up, he saw the familiar underside of Juliet. She stared at the newcomers before addressing him, ”I heard you shouting out like a maniac, that’s one way to get yourself killed.”
Frowning, Galileo sighed. Was he getting lectured by everyone because he was scared? Sheesh, but oh well, she was back, and what was more, he didn’t have to worry about the dangers that she could have experienced in her short time away. ”Feeling better?” he murmured, afraid that she would flee again if she became offended once more.
”I guess…” Juliet chirped, unwilling to give more information on why she had been grumpy in the first place. But he didn’t press for details, she was here again, and she seemed in a better mood, that’s all that mattered.
He only half caught the conversation between Tess and her Familiar, and looking up as she stuttered, he put two and two together after catching words such as “white weasel”. Looking at his pelt, he wondered if he really did look like a weasel, he was fluffy, that was for sure, but he wasn’t sleek, fast footed and cunning like weasel’s were. Oh well, it didn’t matter, mistakes were made and mistakes will always be made. Giving a laugh, he meowed, ”It’s fine! No harm done, nothing to be ashamed of either! Actually, being a weasel would be more of a compliment to me, I’m still getting used to doing all this…combatant training stuff, so I’m bound to be loud and clumsy.”
”Who’re these….things?” Juliet asked quietly, staring at Tess and her Familiar with one beady eye, ruffling her wings importantly.
”The Felmark’s name is Tess…but I don’t know what her Familiar’s name is, though she’s beautiful.”
”Yeah well…I’m beautiful as well!” the Chickadee retorted, staring down at Galileo.
Clearing his throat, he looked awkwardly at Tess before muttering, ”Yes…yes, I tell you everyday…but can we please not do this now? We can continue on later when we get back home…” Rolling his eyes, the black and white tomcat sighed. ”Please excuse my Familiar…she needs to learn sometimes when’s the best moment to bring something up….Anyways, Juliet, this is Tess…and?” He ended uncertainly, looking towards the hummingbird who rested upon Tess’s horn.
As she hesitantly peeked over to Galileo, she noticed a bird just now settling upon the white and black Felmark’s horn, her tiny round eyes studying her.. and probably Jewel too. So, was this Juliet? The Familiar Galileo had told her about? She lifted her head up, Jewel’s eyes locked on the other bird, tilting her head as this one murmured to her companion. Tess felt a slight pang as she remembered how pessimist she was about his Familiar’s absence. She even assumed the idea of his losing her. How rude, how insensitive.. Tess sadly shuffled her paws in the soil, her ears slightly down.
“Oh please Tess,” whispered Jewel as she lowered her head closer to Tess’ ear. “Don’t tell me that this bird is intimidating you. I can tell you right away, she’s all talk. See how quickly she went and stole the compliment that was given to me?”
Tess blinked, unaware of the conversation that was unfolding before her eyes. She simply looked up, gazing at the adorable black-capped Chickadee. She smiled.
“Oh, but I’m not. Wait.. do I look submissive?”
Jewel rolled her eyes, pushing the subject away as Galileo’s attention turned to them.
”Please excuse my Familiar…she needs to learn sometimes when’s the best moment to bring something up….Anyways, Juliet, this is Tess…and?”
Tess blinked.. And…? OH!
“Uh!--Jewel. He name is Jewel,” she smiled dipping her head as she displayed her Familiar to the fellow student. “She’s a HummingBird.”
Jewel lifted her head proudly, giving him a sharp nod before she shot up and hovered closer to the two strangers.
“You two seem to share the strongest bond of all! I’m quite envious, really,” whistled Jewel, a glint of mischief in her tiny round eyes.
“Where did you find her?” quickly added Tess, Jewel blinking in surprise as her Felmark stood on her hind paws only slightly, just to be at the proper height to study the Chickadee more closely. “She is so precious!”

A scene from a rp me and SimplyNeon were doing. The rp is finished now, so I drew this. I'm going to draw every since cat I'm roleplaying with a scene from the finished rp. Only when the rp finishes. Right now, some of them are a little slow, but so far, I'm enjoying them all. Galileo was fun to draw, but the background.. meh. Oh well, it'll pass~
