Another practice picture, this time focused a lot on clothing and particularly colouring. I was starting to get a bit frustrated with my old colouring style as it tended to muddy the colours a lot so I've tried a bit harder to match Kantoku-sensei's, though I'm still way off.Time taken was probably about 5 hours; a couple for the sketch and lining, 2 for colouring and about an hour for the bg.

I think your version is cuter.
Anyway, as always your coloring turned out nicely, and I like how the background looks because while it's softer than the foreground, it's still strong enough to keep the contrast from being jarring. Good job!

It's generally hard to point at the improvement seen every piece or two (with anyone), but you're way better than when I first started watching you so I think it's safe to say you're still improving.
