Description This little beauty took me a good 40 hours, but I am very glad to have it hanging on canvas in my game room right now .

I just started drawing some mugshots, and then this came out. Ended up taping nine sheets of A4 together. Luckily there was photoshop for the coloring job. If you want to see more of my stuff, feel free to like the 'Fish on a Stick' Facebook page, where I'll try and post regular updates!

Just to clarify, the 'Fish' title up top is merely a watermark. If you want a copy, I'll gladly remove it for you!

Looking forward to see the printed canvas.

Also, what's stopping your from posting on deviantART? Don't like the site as it is?

Mmmm.... Good question.

I think it's a combination of factors for me.

1. I'd like to start over under a new penname (Fish on a Stick)
2. Submitting a deviation is kind of a hassle
3. Contrary to Facebook, Deviantart kind of limits your work to be viewed by other artists, instead of non-artists to whom I'd like to show it as well.

But still, I've made lots of new materials since this piece, so once I find the time to sit down, I might just post them here, too.

Not going to say that deviantART is without issues, because it is. It wouldn't hurt to get your work out there, create an online presence. While Facebook might come in handy, it is ultimately a social network specifically designed to be a "people-hub". Also, Facebook is near useless if one does not have an account. Even Twitter is more suited for posting art these days.

DeviantART has streamlined its posting process, but if you just want to post without having to worry about galleries and whatnot, Tumblr might be your cup of tea. If Tumblr excels at anything, it's its minimalistic approach, though I still do not care to figure out how it is supposed to work. Or you can just set up a new account with your new username (or get a subscription and change your username, but that has gotten a bit expensive lately).
