An Teallach mountain viewed from Gleann na Muice in the Wester Ross region of the Scottish Highlands__________
I managed to arrange for some time off both of my jobs at the start of September 2014, and I made good use of this time by visiting some areas of the Highlands that I have been wanting to hike in for quite some time.
I hitch hiked up to Torridon on the west coast and spent a day or two bashing out the munros there. I then trekked across to the Fisherfield Six, camping along the way. The Fisherfields are considered to be the most remote munros in Scotland and the views were certainly rewarding.
An Teallach is probably the best mountain in the UK, I climbed it the next day.
