I'm very pleased with the flashback in panel 4, btw. THAT is what I've been trying to bring across with Yami Bakura's facial shadows-- the fact that this child is what he's reverted to.
In case it's not clear, Ryou is startled by the sudden momentary change to Yami Bakura's face. (Not his expression, either.)
This here was my attempt to depict a spirit guy standing behind a solid guy he's possessing. The average person wouldn't be able to see him, as you should be able to tell by the fact that, in the first panel, he casts no shadow.
Sometimes I like to play with the "randomly magical separate solid body" thing that's so common in Yugioh fanon, but only in humor.
Oh yeah-- those aren't any particular ruins that they're wandering through. I just sort of was going for the "old mud town sitting in the desert a gazillion years" look. XD

Agreed to the ninth power. That's part of the reason why I chose to do what I'm doing with Yami B in YnY: I like him, I don't think he's irredeemable even though he was never actually redeemed in the original series, and I like him.

What really annoys me thoughis the fact that everyone except Bakura has their happy ending. Atem is free, Yugi and co. are sad but happy for him, even Seto is improved from his duelist kingdom days. But Yami B gets NOTHING. He dies, is destroyed, whatever. There is NO HAPPY ENDING. That...That's just not fair.

Yer looking at the panels more closely, im thinking that its yami b saying what in panel 9 and ryou saying its nothing in panel 10. i also thought that in 5 tht yami b either collasped or started crying, its just that when i saw what yami b said, i saw it those two ways, im not sure... is he groaning because of his scar coming back?? oh gr8 i confused myself

He's moaning in emotional pain because of the flashback, and the flashback is causing the scar to come back. :E
Yami B is saying "What?" in panel 9, that's correct.

I knew there were things that happened in this page but I wasn't sure what until I read the comments. ^_^" I thought that scar appeared on his face and disappeared, but they look so much alike, the second to last panel had me slightly confused about who was who. I think it's Yami Bakura wondering why Bakura's looking at him weird, instead of Bakura voicing his thoughts... I think his hair looks more like the yami and the eyes have that look to them, so I'm going with that (and looking at it again, I think he'd be facing the wrong way to be the good Bakura, but I didn't notice at first). I also wasn't exactly sure about what panel 4 was until I saw the comments. But, I like the page and the flashback and the scar.

You've got it more or less. I knew this page would risk being confusing, curse Yami B for deliberately looking so like Ryou.
I realized some hours after the fact that it would have been less potentially confusing if he had said (in the next to last panel) "What, Ryou?" instead of just "What," but it's not as natural for me to use someone's name when speaking to them, and so I didn't think of it until it was much too late to alter.
If you look very closely in the next to last panel, however, Yami Bakura has a slight "spirit flame aura" the way he does in the other panels of the page.
