Description
A challenge I gave myself yesterday was to use my small sketchbook but draw something big, and another was to take my big sketchbook and draw something small.

For those who don't know her, this is Aphrah. She is Volkram Niros' last-ditch effort to defeat Karyana, but this one has a shocking secret. (To those who know my art, there is a hint in this picture.)

Seeing this picture reminded me of watching 'Zatch Bell'. In one of the arcs, one of the main characters - Sherry - searches desperately for her long lost friend Koko from a Mamodo named Zofis who had brainwashed her. During their combat, the mind-controlled Koko revealed a heirloom necklace from Sherry's estate, which temporarily shocks Sherry to the point that her fighting spirit is broken. Only when Sherry understands that Koko is in fact pointing to a set of wooden earrings that Sherry had made for Koko that she realized that the necklace was a fake, and that Koko was struggling to tell her friend to save her.
