I don't know if it's compatible, I haven't used it since like '05. Yes, you can change the background if I recall.

Got Aston2 and Altdesk but the theme wont work >.< I may be wrong but maybe the file is the wrong extention? Any ideas of what I should do? Ive tried several things including what was said in the FAQ section of th esite, thank you for the links however!

The skin reminds me a lot of the old look of Bungie.net, old Halo stuff, and a bit of Starcraft.

It is an actual skin, I forgot where I got it, as this was from 5 years ago, but I think it was for a skinning application called windowsblinds. You might be able to find it.
