I re-did the Magic the Gathering card art for "Browse". Sorta an old card, not sure if it's even still in rotation or been reprinted in any of the newer cycles. It was pretty fun to do, planning on doing a bunch more while I keep up my life studies and what not.You can check my bloog for a progress image!

Very good rendition. I like the amount of detail you've included, especially in the text on the pages of the books. (is that an actual language? If not, kudos to you!) I could see this as new artwork for the card in a core set, as well; it has that feeling to it, with the brighter colors.
All in all, an excellent rendition. I'd say you did rather well; be proud.

I had fun doing it. This is the first personal illustration I've done in a few weeks. I'm really trying to improve my work and get more inline with the sort of art that Wizards has been commissioning for their newer sets. Hopefully one day I'll be able to get jobs doing card are for magic! ;D
