Description
Established multi-national corporation, Gothika emerged among the initial major players in the field of teleporter technology. The YG2 series of mecha cores were engineered to integrate devices called Jump Reactors. By opening up a portable wormhole, the reactors were capable of letting the units "phase" set distances as a form of high-speed travel. As a result, the Phaseblades were used for stealth infiltration and could teleport within enemy defenses. Being smaller and more lightweight than some of the siege-oriented units, the YG201 models were not used for combat as their reactor components were costly to install. Instead, they were used to sow confusion and disable the bases of enemies and then quickly phase out before being detected. Later iterations of the YG2 series were adapted to be more combat-oriented.
