Yaaay, another painting from my 2D final! There's one more (well, actually there are two, but one of them sucks too much for me to show it to the world). This is a Goldhorn, which is a golden-horned stag (from Slovene mythology). Upon finishing this and double-checking the legend, I found out that I actually painted the wrong type of deer here- it's actually supposed to be a chamois buck, which for those of you who don't want to look it up is more of a goat/antelope than deer.It's an interesting story about this creature, I will link you to the Wikipedia article! The shading is good, and the decision to have birch trees in the background is really cool!

I like this so much, I've downloaded this picture for my computer. I've added it to my collection of art that is also Pagan-related... (I know you're not Pagan, but this strikes me as very Pagan friendly.
