Description Oh hai Steven.

So why is he also getting a re-design? Because he looked too dark. NOW he looks like a blacktip.

Also, no. He is not inspired from Steve irwin.

It just so happens that it's a complete fucking coincidence that he lives near the coast of Australia and that is name is Steven. I am not a Fan of Steve Irwin but I still liked him.

And you might link the connection to Steven fighting with Saltwater crocodiles, but Steven comes across them by accident. He's not looking for danger unlike Irwin.

And he fights off any kind of creatures that pose a threat, mostly cetaceans, not reptiles.

So there. Enjoy!

I'd like to see him fight one of those Salties. It was epic!

Thank you! <3

Maybe you can try drawing sharks too.

They're simple. It's only the perspective and realistic atonomy that's difficult.

I've been drawing for yours, but with a simple design and a lot of practice sketches, you'll get it!

I think they're just called blacktips rather than oceanic blacktips.

Wiki calls them oceanic black tips.

Gonna have to ask you a lot of questions again. XD

But I'm also going to ask other people in person who specialize in this just to get every detail right for the re-make.

Maybe you could tell me some fun tips or facts.

Nope. It's just blacktip. There's no species of blacktip that fits the term of oceanic.

Strange. :/

I've always read it that way.

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as an oceanic blacktip. There are only three species of blacktip shark: the common blacktip, the smoothtooth blacktip, and the Australian blacktip. They are also not to be confused with the blacktip reef shark, which is more closely related to the gray reef shark.

Guess that Steven is an Australian blacktip.

Quite possible. Then again, common blacktips live in the same area and are known to interbreed with Australian blacktips, so he could easily be one, the other or both.

;o;

Speaking of which, if Jack and Mainda had pups, would they survive? And could it be that one gender would not be able to breed?

Not sure. Hybrid sharks are rare, and there aren't many documented, though it seems they are not sterile. I think you could take artistic liberties with that bit.
