Serena is an eleven year old girl. She's a bit of a tomboy and a lot of fun. One summer she finds to her dismay that all her friends are going to camp, her brother is working full time, and she has to spend a summer with her OLD grandparents. She sets herself out for a boring summer, but instead gets commissioned by a Prince from another realm. He is sending his subjects to her world as a protective measure--a great evil has entered his world, and he has to face it and defeat it alone. He asks Serena to protect them. A big job for such a small girl! Luckily she has some help...
