Okay, sketch dump of images gathered over the past few days, today included, and quick explanations. I've also dated them where i can remember when I did 'em... Oh and they're numbered in the order I did them and not in clockwise or anything order. LONG NOTES ARE LONG guys and when I warn you about notes you know it's going to be baaaad.

Top sheet - I actually like almost everything on here, with a few exceptions:
1 - Intended as part of a larger image; I may redo it, since it's not quite right and I want this to be a good one. Standards, baby. But I do like this, I just don't love it. This set the tone for the rest of this page, which became the Sad Beth Page.
2 - Ow. (No particular scene, just a moment of internal self-loathing.)
3- is a two-parter, takes place at the end of "High, Dry, and Flooded" and is approximately just how I want it to look.
4 - the text here says "idk who this is, maybe Beth at ~15". Seriously, I set out to draw Beth but it became not her as I went. Then I thought I could salvage it and make it during her teen years, so there's a slight resemblance but she's even skinnier and no glasses yet. (Though Beth wore glasses at 15... hmmm... maybe age 12 then.)
5 - I keep trying over and over to draw this damn pose. There is so much Launchpad Fail coming up in this you guys I'll explain why she has a flight cap on in the next sheet.
6 - Go up to the top! Haha I like this even though her head's too big and her hands are too small so NOTHING matches. Nothing in this pic is right but the emotion just cracks me up. She's all "WHYYYY"
7 - Did this today. This is from that fic I keep trying to sell everyone on. Hell she actually looks kind of hot, if only she weren't sobbing - instant mood-kill. And if it's not clear, she's got her arms around something (or someONE).

Second sheet - mainly done at work, just random when I had time and it turned into the Flight Cap Page:
1 - I had this idea that I'd try sketching scenes out of a few of my fics. This was as far as I got and it's just a thumbnail. Meh... This is TWC1, btw, Drake's introduction to Beth when she's acting like a flake.
2 - So, the flight cap. These are concept sketches for "Those Daring McQuacks in their Flying Machines" which I'm currently working on ([link] ), and if you can't guess from the title, Beth meets the Flying McQuacks and then other things happen. Anyway Loopy talks her into getting a flight cap as a souvenir and she spends most of the second and third acts wearing it. My first effort - see, I don't know why this happens sometimes, but sometimes Beth looks like this. I honestly don't know why. I *think* I'm following the same design, but there's obviously something I'm doing differently 'cause she turns out weird. O_o
3 - Back to basics, this is an update to the first pic of Beth that I posted on DA, and a pose I return to every so often to see if I can do it any better. I like this one; I like her hip, and her eyes, and the little tilt of her head. I'm less impressed with her looks though and more impressed with my having made her a LOT less stiff than usual.
4 - Second try on the flight cap and this worked slightly better. I don't think Beth likes it much.
5 - I tried once more the next day and she's a lot more comfortable. Look, she's even sassing someone. ;D Actually I believe she's trying to flirt a little bit! Awwww.

Third sheet - no theme:
1 - More Launchpad Fail.
2 - Darkwing Fail. This and #1 are also images to go along with that first one of Beth up at the top, but where that was possibly intended to be final, these are roughs to come up with a pose. Not loving either of these.
3 - You know what I said about doing the same pose over and over? This is actually a different scene (both this and the one above are from "Those Daring McQuacks" again), but such a similar pose that I guess I'd better do one or the other. Btw, she SHOULD be wearing the flight cap here. Cant' believe I forgot it, ugh, what's wrong with me
4 - Done today, and again based on that fic I won't shut up about. This is Beth's new dress in full view. I actually think she looks really, really pretty here. Which always makes me worry that it's not believable that she could be that pretty. :/

Last page - not a lot...
The first is one I started about a week or so ago, and yes, more LP Fail. This is meant to be Beth and LP, maybe before or right around the time of TWC1, on his weekly visit to the store when they hang out and chat. I felt like I needed more pictures of their developing friendship. Beth initially came out even worse than he did so I redrew her tonight and she cooperated

The second is a character from "Those Daring McQuacks" who will show up in chapter 2, Maurice LaDinde. He's a turkey ("Dinde" is French for turkey... uh I think... I took like 12 years of French so if I am wrong I'm going to be REALLY embarrassed.) It's pronounced rather like "Dand", like in "dandy" so now that you know that, a recurring gag in the fic will make sense. This is just a concept sketch and hte first time I've tried drawing him - I'm really not sure if that's him or not. But it's a start I DREW A MALE OC
