Description Uh, rushed crappy entry for ~DarkwingSnark 's OC contest. If I have the time, I will finish this, but to be honest I don't expect to have the time, so consider this the "final" version.

How does this sum up Beth: Well, uh...
- She hangs out with DW (who is getting beat up by the Fearsome Five, or possibly just four, in that dust cloud)
- She is on the sidelines of all the fights but is often present for at least part of them
- She's unabashedly nerdy
- She loves to read
- She has a kind of tunnel vision at times and misses the important stuff
- She's unintentionally funny (due to all the above).

And, uh, the end. This ain't gonna win jack but at least I entered!

Oh she can't win for this one. Even if she doesn't get found out for being distracted by books she's still going to get chewed out for not helping somehow. And that'll happen even if she does help, because she didn't help sooner. So she might as well enjoy looking at books a little while longer. XD

Yep, this perfectly sums up Beth's personality. To me, simple pictures like this have the greatest effect (I think I've said that before, but it needed to be repeated). Even if I didn't know Beth, I'd get a good first impression of what she's like and my interest to find out more would be piqued.
So, regarding the contest, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thank you! I'm glad it does work as an intro pic (at least a little) and not something that only works as an injoke. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too on your entry (which was really quite fantastic, and no joke); since comparitively speaking I spent a tiny amount of time on mine, I think yours is much more worthy ^_^

Y'know I have no idea... either child geniuses or else adults struggling to figure that stuff out. XD I doubt I'd understand any of it if I read it But I'm sure the pictures are adorable.

I struggled SO HARD to think of a way to sum her up that was more suitable to a portraity-type picture. I couldn't because I was like "It HAS to be funny." Fortunately this strikes me as very funny.

I was thinking of "Batman" for onomatopoetic sound effects... "Biff" is the first that comes to mind ...That's a good point about the bookstore... Well but if it's a big enough bookstore ANYthing can happen. Right...?

I was gonna link you to this 'Rifftrax Best of the Dark Knight' vid on Youtube, because the guys made references to the Adam West show's sound effects during a fight scene, but it looks like someone's taken it down. Too bad. I was gonna say if you ever needed help naming a fight sound to watch that scene.

Dawww! LOL. I think it's pretty funny. I find the oblivious characters to be hilarious. Like the Muddlefoots, for example. I almost feel bad for DW there...but honestly, I can, in a moment, see him tip toeing out of the cloud of the dust and then the F4 just throttling each other until they notice. XD

And of course Beth read that book. XD

Hee, thank you! If I had the time/drive to make it more than a sketch I'd feel better about it, but for some reason my brain decided it was a totally awesome and easy thing to be drawing other peoples' ideas all month long. I mean, I'm enjoying it, but I'm like "Oh yeah. No, can't do that, I have to do the requests first." Ahaha. 9_9

I don't feel bad for DW, honestly. Either like you said, and the tiptoeing happens, or else he just lives through it and moves on as usual And Beth is gone, she's inside the bookstore shopping. ^_^

No problemo! I hope Neji has the time to finish up her entry and then you have four and it's a real contest.
