Gerald Warman is a 25 year old (46 human years approximately) western lowland gorilla who's the adoptive uncle of Isabelle, Barney and Emma, the younger adoptive brother of Stuart and the brother-in-law of Heather. Gerald's house is literally right next to the family's one and not only that but they even share a garden so Gerald can pay a visit to the family whenever he wants. Also, while Stuart can be described as being a no nonsense, very down to earth and sometimes prone to anger issues, Gerald could be described as the polar opposite: he's very laid back, fun loving, chill, ambitious, witty, charismatic and loves to bring joy to his nephews whenever he can although he can get a bit disorganized with his own things at home; he can also be described as that fun loving uncle who would take you eat dinner to T.G.I.F and he would make sure you'll be having a enjoyable time. Fun fact about Gerald: his favorite food of all time is celery, especially the peanut butter filled variety. Seriously, if he could he wouldn't eat anything else for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gerald is currently single but he's searching for a potential girlfriend that can live with him though unlike his brother Stuart, Gerald is actually looking forward on pairing up with some women of his own species rather than hooking up with the first primate lady you can see around. And speaking of Stuart, the relationship with him and Gerald have been pretty rocky to say the least... It's not like they despise each other or anything, but when Stuart was a teenager his parents brought in Gerald as a toddler orphan and he always recieved all the attention from his parents and ever since Stuart has developed some sort of jealousy towards his younger brother because he thinks he's always been as "the family's favorite" even though that was never Gerald's intention from the getgo but luckily over time Stuart has been able to look past what happened on their childhood and settle their differences as brothers.

I'm very happy with how Gerald turned out. Much like how I based Heather on my own mom for references, I used both my dad and my Uncle Max who also shares the garden of our house and lives next door for inspirations for Gerald's personality, life style and clothing. Hell the whole attire than he's wearing on the right corner was what my Uncle Max was wearing a Sunday morning and they just fit Gerald so much.
