I like to create a somewhat abstract feel with each Eternus, but with this one all I had in mind was a simple portrait. Yet, when I was painting the forward-spiked hair, I did a large lock in the center and it looked like a beak. Boom - abstract.

As a side note, there was a pretty lengthy gap between 34 and 35. Once again, it was a ridicrazy period, so while I was being kept from painting, instead of feeling like I was failing to turn up, I made the conscious decision not paint. Suddenly it felt like I was turning up to my plan, which for that period, was not to paint. I found that it could be a great way to move past art-block. If you're having trouble drawing, actively decide not to and you'll get the satisfaction of executing your choices. Then - and this is most important part - simply decide to draw, following on with that confidence. Could be a handy trick.

Also, I'll be posting two Eternuses a day for a bit to catch up.
