Day 12, Nidoran male and female, Nidorino, Nidorina, Nidoking, Nidoqueen.Huge family!
My friend came over today to draw, and gave me the idea of putting these tough looking pokemon in a domestic setting. I usually dont like to do these kinds of pictures for pokemon I haven't drawn before (like Nidoking and Nidorino) because a lot of the monster is blocked, but this idea was too good to pass up.

Haha, oh man, i guess this species reaches maturity very early, or they just dont evolve until they're much older. which i guess would make sense that in the wild they would probably go through their entire life without evolving unless trained by a human. otherwise we'd have huge monsters like nidoqueen roaming around

haha, no way. the pokedex says nidoking is an average 4'07" height and 136.7 lbs! That's taller than a lion and almost as tall as me! I wouldnt want to see a poisonous monster like that wondering about in the wild, no thanks!

They are smaller than in the anime

a lot of things are. i havent actually seen one in the anime, i didnt watch much past the movies and some episodes in the beginning. you also have to remember the size given in the dex is an average, just like how gary's krabby was so much larger than ash's, i'm sure there are larger and smaller nidos

Nidoking: Hay Rhyperior, Machamp
Both :Hey.
Rhperior:Man you look terrible, something wrong?
Nidoking: *sigh* new kid.
Machamp: What is this, your third?
Nidoking: Fourth.
Rhyperior: No wounder your near dead!
Nidoking: Yeah, you know it ain't the little ones that are a problem, it's the older ones, you think they'd act their age but the little ones are better behaved!
Rhyperior : You tried hitting em?
Nidoking: No!
Rhyperior: I'm telling whenever my boys get out of line a good knock to the head sets em strait!
Nidoking: And they don't fight after that?
Rhyperior: uh well...
Machamp: Ah don't listen to him, if you want my advice I say you do something with em, probably feel a bit left out with the new kid...just don't stack cards.
Nidoking: Maybe you got a point there, would probably do allot more good then hitting em.
Rhperior: Don't knock it till you try it.
