I love the high contrast. Actually, I prefer this version over the color one. This is the kind of work that makes me want to go home and break out the ink, pens, & brushes,

it is so beautiful

it almost makes me sad..but then at the same time feel sort of cozy/cuddly and like falling asleep in someone's lap
somehow it looks so much brighter than seemingly expected
i love it

Ack. Farking briliant. Your line weights and negative space rule ass.

And yes, painkiller is right. WHY SCRAPS!?

aite. i'm not gonna bring 'his' name up. again. heh.
but i think i rather like the noir style better for this subject matter.
incidently, i've been playing the horn for almost 3 decades.
excellant work bro.

I always wanted to learn trumpet. It is my favorite brass instrument (along with cornet).

yeah, this is awesome in black & white, seriously. the starkness, the little squiggly lines against the white, the little smudges...

yeah.

Thank you.

BTW, I ordered Wet Moon (should be in next week in my grubby little hands). It better be good or I'm coming over and taking all your brushes and dipping them in epoxy

gorgeous shapes... i love black and white images like this. The closure and figure/ground play is like pornorgraphy for my mind.

I like this better than the color one . . . it seems to fit the scene more. It's simpler in the best possible way.

What in fucks sake are you talking about. I'd clobber my own skull with a brick if it would help me get the same sense of line weight that you have (not to mention your layouts).

One day I am going to bribe you to ink something of yours. Or maybe rework in mixed media or something.
