Description Finest Hour - Card Number 7: Zecora, Zebra Sage

“No, all it not lost yet, we still have a mean, to combat this threat!”

They all looked at Zecora.

“We have you, and you, and you. When you are all together, there is nothing you can’t do!”

Then Luna took the word.

“She is right. I can still remember back when Nightmare Moon was in control of me, and you stopped her. Sure, the elements were a part of it, but if it hadn’t been for your friendship, they would not have done anything. It was also not the elements that stopped Discord; it was you, Twilight, standing up for your friends when all seemed lost. And Shining Armor and Cadence did not need any elements to stop Chrysalis; their feelings were enough in itself.”

It took a while for them all to understand what Luna meant: The elements of harmony were never a “weapon” or a source of power in themselves, but merely a focus for emotional energies. Therefore, the elements were not entirely needed to stop the invasion; another focus could do as well.

Wow cheat out Blightsteel Colossus for the win. Honestly though I think it should be WG, it kinda fits with her more and so far it would lead to better balance. But I still haven't made it all the way through.

I am mostly balancing this set on its own merrits, since I dont have time to check up every card ever made. An idea for a way to "fix" this, would be to add "sacrifice a permanent for each mana above 5 in the converted mana cost of that card" or something.

I know what you mean, you are basing it off block format as most of the blocks are, I think it is a good card, but you seem to lean toward WU for this set.

That is mostly due to the two factions I am making. The Equestrians will mostly have white mana in their cost, while the invaders will have black.
