Well he has lots of things to do. I mean Aang is the only Airbender left in the world so he need to work hard or else the Air Nomad Culture will permanently lost and extinct.

Perhaps, but one out of his three children were able to remember him more fondly.
Even if two of his three children weren't airbenders, they didn't join him and Tenzen on learning the Air Nomad Culture. In the show, they were clearly feeling left out of Tenzen's greatness just because he was an airbender.
Not saying Aang is a bad person, no. Just that he wasn't exactly a good father.
