Description This is a drawing done for my friend, Pauline. I've used her as model before and I enjoyed to use her once again. I was aiming for a drawing similar to Regrets, in colour and mood. I feel the most satisfied with her lips and eyes, I think they both express what I wished for.
I kind of felt while drawing her, she had this slightly blank stare, just after you experienced something devastating. You feel so emotional low and then you get this feeling of... nothing.

Dedicated to Pauline, as well as another friend going through some rough times these days. You know who you are

Oh Zindy, this is gorgeous : I just fell in love with this drawing, everything looks just so beautiful in it, the colors, facial expression, some kind of gothic atmosphere...
I am really moved by the whole piece and happy you created such a piece from the ref : when I saw the thumb I really thought it was me but wasn't 100 percent sure - now I am

oh its beautiful She does have a very blank stare, I know I've felt like that many times here lately. Just kind of empty of emotions.

You know, its very weird, I was just drawing this picture a little bit ago, it was just a sketch, but its weird how you always do these drawings from photos Im thinking about drawing or already are drawing or you submit ones at the perfect time when Im feeling the emotion in the drawing. You must be very intuitive with me

I actually like her bottom jaw. The shading really makes it look real, like there is real muscle in it. How did you achieve such an effect with soft pastels?
