This is my first entry for the December Contest from "Single Layer"
December 2013 ContestsYes, contests, plural. For December, we have decided to go back to two separate events—but as you will soon see, they are two sides of the same theme.
New Contest Procedures
Even though we are calling these "contests" instead of challenges this month, it is not a very big change. It is still intended to be casual, friendly, and learning-oriented.
The biggest difference is that there will be a community vote at the end of the month! The admins will narrow down the entries to a few finalists, but after that, the whole community will get to pick first place. Once the votes are in, there will be a feature journal—like we've been doing already, but a little bit more structured. And last but not least, we will probably make a stamp that the winner can display with their deviation, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

For this contest, your fractal must have only one layer. The idea is to take all the time you would normally spend
