Description
Zoolo in Drako-Beast form. He looks much better in copics.Had to touch up digitally a bit because my scanner didn't pick up the rich colors.
This caused me three hours of trouble! Thank God the background is done.
Background is not by me as my own traditional background did not work out well at all...

The colouring is oh so vibrant. Nice! What is also quite usual (for you, but not for most I think) is the awesome life and energy in the eyes. You are so good with that. This is another example. What isn't usual for you is the really cool background. Well done!

The background did turnout good, but sadly its not mine
it's just a google search, because my watercolor background totally flunked.
Might try digital touch up more often.

Sorry, just noticed your reply/comment. Ah, yes I think it is good to have other tools in your pencil case. So, to speak... Digital touch up, digital special effects, or whatever. You could sort of think of it as different kinds of inks or pencils type thing. Or, you could do it on its own. But, even if you never use digital again, you've certainly used it to good effect on this piece.
Again, well done. And, I love this one. A lot.

Indeed, It can really help with color and what not, just adding that extra bit.

I suppose something to consider is you might not ever get it perfect, because your vision of what it perfect might also evolve. But, if that was the case I think that's fine. Then it's always something to be aiming for. Or, maybe your vision hasn't changed... In that case you probably have a better chance of attaining that perfection (of the vision). I don't think it matters either way as obviously you are doing lots right. It certainly shows up in your art. Love it. Keep it up please.

Well, what is perfection anyway. Even if it is attainable, it might only be perfect for the moment. Actually, that might be the only way. Something in a particular space at a particular moment could be perfect, even if it wasn't before. But, that's not really what I was talking about. Just commenting on you getting close to your vision. But, yes, please beautiful things. Or, even non-beautiful things that are creative or invoke something in the observer. Blah, blah, blah philosophize, philosophize, philosophize, yada, yada, yada. I just enjoy what you create!
