(other than Lucario) could talk like they would in their anime, other than that, every character on the roster has their own personality within their games, put a voice to it, get a story, maybe them living together in an apartment, a Hunger Games-esque situation or just put them in the Subspace Emmissary. Do that and BAM, WINNING!!!
