Description
Ok then, here we have a little something that I came up with as a bit of a laugh, and based on Chibi-Usa/Rini's nickname in the dub, I decided that I should draw her as a mushroom-themed monster
So, without further ado, I present; Daimon Spore.
She has three different fungus spore attacks, typically deployed as high-velocity cloud blasts.
The first type is a standard incindiary and explosive.
The second type puts victims into a deep sleep.
The third type grows rapidly around a victim, trapping them as a statue in the stalk of a giant mushroom.
And like all Daimons, she can zap people with her Death Busters symbol to extract their pure heart crystal.
Ok, Death Busters and Chibi-Usa belong to Naoko Takeuchi.

I really like the skin color and how it is shaded.
The dress is angular and light pink which gives it an organic look. I really like the dimension in the top because it makes me think its real.
The rair/head is really well done because it seems to meld and have these weird cone shaped things on the top.
The face is really good because the eyebrwos are pink and the eyes are red and there are fangs.
The hands and right cuff are really detailed and interesting but the left cuff is a little flat. I like it.

Did the hint of yellow survive the scanner? I'm sure some of the shading got eaten
I'm glad you like this design as it was quite fun to do. I did briefly consider just having her in a bra and a skirt of mushrooms, but I think the full dress looks better, and I can't be accused of sexualising her now
She would have ankle cuff mushrooms too, but I ran out of page
Using a bright pink gel pen for the eyebrows backfired a little as it did smudge, but if I'd been more careful, it would've worked better
I'm glad the hands came out alright

Cool pic, but I don't really get it. Is it Chibiusa? OR is it a separate Daimon? Or is it Chibiusa transformed into a Daimon? Or a Daimon that just looks like Chibiusa?

The specific form is based on her dub nickname "the pink spore" but the intent (in the pic and the description) is that it is very much her

actually, it's not similar to Matango at all, but she has a Japanese look to her and she's a shroom. I like the shroom dress!

I take it that it's one of Kaorinite's Death Busters since her's have the DB's symbol that extracts Pure Heart Crystals.

All the Daimons had the Deathbuster star on them somewhere... but you're probably right that she was Daimonified by Kaorinite. Eugeal used the gun, Mimete's Daimon's sucked the crystals up through the victim's mouth (usually after several failed attempts at kissing them) but you're right - only Kaorinite's ones used the Deathbuster star to extract pure heart crystals.

What details would you change if she was retconned as a youma?

I don't particularly want to change anything (because I really like this design) except maybe making her flesh more pale, with a yellow tint... and ditching the Death Busters star of course

Maybe make the 'flesh' pattern and the 'pink dot' pattern gradient more to show they're a part of her and not a costume? (Good work on the twins by the way.)

Possibly... though the flesh parts represent the stalk/stem of the mushroom, which is nearly always shown as a different colour to the cap... in cartoons. I don't know if there is a real mushroom that has a white stalk and spotty red cap, as my knowledge of fungi is negligable at best

Well the way she's drawn here I'd get the idea she likes watching humans squirm and has a love of the dramatic. Is lazy but short tempered. Likes Hurricane's style but HATES being caught in her reckless cross fire. And her having a love/hate relationship with the twins.

I don't think we decided but I believe I was leaning towards her starting human and under Nephrite's protection, possibly leading to her being killed or youmafied later, or even Nephrite going rogue to save her...

That was always my favorite addition they made to the anime. And 'Friend in Wolf's clothing' is such a clever title!
And I keep seeing Usagi's Yoma ultimately rejecting Byrel and Pluto and starting a rebellion among the 'monsters of the week.' Or that's one possibility. I've liked what you've done so far.
