Description Ok, this is a little something I was working on, and a bit of a play on Hotaru's name (which we may or may not all know means 'Firefly' ).
I decided to draw her as a sort of hybrid bug-girl. Mostly human but with some buggy parts.
Not a lot else to say, just enjoy, please comment, and enjoy

I really love the design of the outfit, which is what stood out for me the most about this picture...it has this great rubbery look to it that almost make it look like she has an exoskeleton of sorts.

The wings seem small and cuter, yet long and strong at the same time, and I really like how their coloring has this almost transparent, but not quite feel to them.

I didn't notice it at first, but her glowing firefly tail is leaving a nice spot of light upon the concrete, which is a great bit of detail.

Hotaru's pose feels very relaxed and at piece, and the background really suits that mood.

Well, like I said in the description, she is a human/bug hybrid here so it is entirely probable that her "outfit" is indeed an exoskeleton, or something akin to one
