splendid job on the drawing my friend. I dont remember her in the starwars movies or the movie adaption books that i read. Are the Jedi Order stories before Lord Sedious and the droid wars appeared?

She's my favourite character... well, equal-second with Mara Jade and just behind Jaina Solo, but that's not the point

Aw that's cool to know you're putting effort. Proofs that you, and any artist in general, makes fantastic artwork by taking their sweet and yet careful timing on doing their art.

Effort can pay off... and yet sometimes it cannot.
I remember getting really offended that I was getting more attention for quick and dirty digital works than the traditional art that I was spending so much more time and care on. It doesn't drive me so mad now, and as I like doing traditional work best anyways, I just stick with it

Drawing Tahiri was fun, not just because she's one of my favourite characters, but also for the experimentation aspect of the Yuuzhan Vong armour. I'd never done it before.
They are an interesting species, even with their... squick-y religious practices. I have been meaning to draw a full-on Yuuzhan Vong, and not just a normal character in their armour.

You could try to draw Mezhan Kwaad, she looks good in spite of being a YV (or at least she's not as ugly as the rest xD), and shapers are the most interesting caste

Sorry I didn't copment on this sooner Zoe, it got burried beneath all my other inbox deviation messages. The armor itself is very unusual and not what one thinks of for the same universe as the one that produced Battle Droids, Star Fighters, blasters and the Death Star. I don't know alot about the Yuuzhan Vong but they sound like a very interesting people from everything I've read from the previous posts. I like Tahiri's pose, you did a good job making her look ready for battle. I like this, excelent work.

The Yuuzhan Vong in general are unusual and not what anyone in the Star Wars galaxy expected
As I put it in the (as yet unfinished) unofficial New Jedi Order Campaign Guide "Their ships look like sea-creatures make of rocks, they wear armour made of crabs and fight using snakes and exploding bugs. How could anyone used to the technology of the Empire and the New Republic take such things seriously from the description alone?"

You have a good eye for colour, I would say you need a bit more practice on your feet. Also the knee needs to be a bit thicker.

I didn't want to go for basic black, as the Enemy Lines novels described the armour as having different sets of colours, quite possibly to denote the wearer's Domain. I was a little worried that the two-tone green with dark pink streaks might look a bit too plant-like.
