Commission for of her superlass Claire Voyant!

This was my first b+w commission, so I didn't have an exact system down (like I sort of do for the colored ones), so it was extremely experimental and fun. I used a pen with my usual higgins waterproof ink, some copic cool grays, mechanical pencil, a tria clear blender marker (for the graphite), and milky pen. I used a lot of milky pen.. it's been a while! I had a lot of fun.

Scanned it on a black surface to better demonstrate the cutting I do on these things.
I did a lot of cutting not only around the image, but on the image as well. It's something I think you have to see to understand. Basically, it saved me use of white material and sort of creates an etching effect, if you notice it.

Twas fun. LOTS of development sketches go along with this thing.
