Is this a "Paperchild"? or is it glued to the paper? I love your style!

I think I made her turn into smoke because #1 she's got a big cigar for her choice of smoke and #2, her left leg was getting all kinds of fucked up! CRAP, MY SECRET'S OUT!

Thanks! While I try not to model my work after that of others, when it comes to appreciation you can't really help it. With Steadman and Scarfe, their scratchy yet melting styles are something I find to be the right kind of touch (correction, PUNCH). Also, their use of color is absolutely wonderful. Now, I cannot say that I definitely gained my loose style from my love of their work, although I can definitely see where I would have been inspired.
Trust me, you don't have to worry about me stopping the traditional work any time soon. Even if I'm not busy doing watercolors or oils, I'm still going to be sketching with a pencil. I think the digital is just a good way to work off some of the steam without actually making much of a mess, but I personally find it to be very aggravating for me to do physically. Also, I'll never feel comfortable with using the term "digital painting" to describe my digital.. um.. work. I've learned this from about 2+ years experience.
It's also very cool to have your work as an inspiration too, you know!
