Do you find feathers tough. They can be difficult. I like this pidgey though, its wings remind me of a diving plane's.

This may sound like a really stupid and annoying Question but how do you get it to be just an outline of white? I have submitted art with a transparent background before but then it needs a preview.

Well the actual outline of the pidgey itself is black
Then I just use photoshop where you can choose the function to get an outline of the color and thickness of your choice. This is what I do for the whit big outline and the black thinn outline.
I had the same problem as you this is how I solved it (even if I think deviantart has made changes so what I do isn't really neccessairy anymore but I don't wanna change it
