Guys, if you want to put up pics about these four OCs from sam-ely-ember, Angelus19, and Andrew, that's fine with me. Just be sure to say that Marie is Phineas and Isabella's daughter, Thomas is Ferb and GRETCHEN's son, Jasmine is Baljeet and GINGER's daughter, and Holly is Buford and ADYSON's daughter.

I cannot speak for Andrew, because I am not familiar with his OC and therefore cannot comment on it. However, I can comment on both Thomas and Jasmine.

I am not saying you guys cannot make fanart about those OCs, so please do not say that. But...Thomas (as property of Ely and Angelus) is the son of Ferb and Vanessa. Jasmine (again, as property of Ely and Angelus) is the daughter of Baljeet and Mishti. You can NOT make fan art about them and just change that detail about them. Lawton seems to be under the impression that that is an insignificant detail, but that cannot be further from the truth.

Choosing between them liking cereal and oatmeal is an insignificant detail.

Having them like to walk through the park instead of a construction zone in the middle of the night is an insignificant detail.

Changing the parent of a fan-made character that is not yours just to fit a pairing that you like is rude, deceitful, and can very likely get you banned if reported by the original creator.

Think about it. Just as an example, let's say that you had an OC that was the child of Adyson and Buford. Someone wants to do a piece of art of that, but they are instead going to change it to Milly/Buford without your knowledge. Would that not make you a little upset?

Please do not mistaken my caps lock and italics for yelling. I am not trying to pick a fight with anyone. I am just trying to understand why this is such a hard concept to grasp.

Lawton may be the creator of this group, but he is not God. He can not manipulate other people's OCs into his liking just because he doesn't like the pairing that they are associated with. It defeats the purpose of what he is doing/this group is about (getting people to know about the pairings he likes).

Now, if you have any other questions, I will be more than happy to answer them for you.

Okay, for one, if it was changed to Buford/Milly, I wouldn't be upset at all! That's what they want to do, and I'm fine with it. So, who are you to say that if they can change the parents f my OCs, why can't I change the parents of their OCs? You don't make any sense whatsoever.

If you go and ask sam-ely-ember right now (or whenever) if you can do a fanart of Thomas, and you say that you're going to change the parents from Ferb and Vanessa to Ferb and Gretchen, and she says no, you cannot do that, what are you going to do?

I don't want to see him banned. I never have. If you are implying that I want that, that is just untrue.

Of course he has every right to make good fan-art. He's always had that right. You cannot change other people's (note that) OCs major details to do that, especially if you don't tell them about it first.

I'll probably have one out either on Friday or Saturday. Haven't really decided which one I want to put out. I have one that's almost done but needs work, and one I haven't started yet but could pull out quickly. It'll depend on what my schedule is like.
