Hello. Im the slider timer dude. Yeah im a nerd. I always been into electronics and when i saw Sliders back in 95, i would have died for a timer replica. I used to make them out of cardboard and crayons...lol. So around 2000 i made a timer out of some old parts...it was basic. It never blinked. Just lights that shined all the time. The second one i DID make from an old motorola phone. I had an old alarm clock that counted down and up and had a stop watch. It was cool so i took it apart and added it to my timer chassis...it was a perfect fit-a match made in heaven. But i left it on the battery charger and lightning hit it. The third one i made was taken by my highschool principle-lol. I felt like i was a slider then cuz i snuck in and stole it back. It was great. Then some one stole it from me for good. The forth one i made with my friend Rob. The chassis gave out so we used it in an episode of our own...we used firecrackers to burn and smoke the timer and took pictures of it. It was awesome. The fifth one is the one i gave you the instructions on. right now its taken apart cuz i had a short in the circuitry after dropping it. Im a rough slider...but hey! No biggie.
