I checked out your youtube profile and I think my favorites are: Nightlife Meridian, the second half of Lair of the Skullgirl, and Regal Princess (sort of).
Regal Princess kinda bothers me because even though it sounds good, it feels like it's missing a melody. What I'm hearing sounds like it should be supporting a melody instead. It's like a band with a solid bass guitar and drums, but no lead guitar, if that makes any sense. Especially with how you can tell where the portions of the song are separated, I think a more developed or stronger melody would tie everything together more nicely.
I found the second half of Lair of the Skullgirl to be more interesting than the first part, especially with the sound effects being more eerie and the melody being more pronounced.
Nightlife Meridian is flawless! It belongs in the official soundtrack. I would've preferred the percussion through the entire thing though, but that's just me being nit-picky.^^
Please take my advice with a grain of salt because I am by no means qualified to be giving any of it lol and you probably have a much better understanding of music in general more than I do. XD (I've never produced anything) I'm just going by ear and my own personal experience listening to other types of music.^^

Regal Princess - Yea, I totally know what you mean. I knew what I wanted for that one but trying to convey it was rather difficult. Not mincing words, it was sloppy (pretty much all of them were, but Filia through Ms. Fortune, I believe, are the worst).
Lair - I was hesitant to even finish this because of its similarity with 'The Undead'.
Nightlife - Arguably the most fun I had doing these even if it was an afterthought.
I thank you for even listening and giving feedback! When I did these, I had absolutely no background in music at all. Eventually when I get some real equipment, I'd like to revise them and finish the rest of the cast because all of those are just samples put together - samples that I had used multiple times for different things. So I was limited with what I had to work with as well as trying to keep it somewhat original.
