Every time I see your work I ask myself how you draw so different but artistically balanced environments. Do you use photo references and rework it into something new?
(btw, do you work in Photoshop? I saw it in exif data.)

Thanks gree -- means a lot! I sometimes use photos as references for parts of a work, although they're mostly for inspiration, or getting ideas for how to set up a shot. The great majority of my paintings are just whatever I can think up in my head. And yes, I'm using Photoshop CC; there are simpler, free options that would work well for me, but I've become rather fond of Photoshop
