Considering getting back into Pokemon Dev myself, but mainly focused on a standard RPG for now.

Not bad man, got a job, earning a living finally not long until baby is here and got some decorating done to my home finally. 
Really tempted to pay for a monthly subscription for development softwares and basically play about a bit, not that I have time but would be nice to do so.
How's things with you?

The usual crap for me. University started, and that's basically that. Did have a great summer holiday though. Playing around, making a lot of music, and experimenting with different video editing software. Lol, not much excitement here. So you have your own place now?

Nope, I still live where I am, just paying to decorate the place as yeah, wasn't in the best of condition if I'm honest. Done quite a good job considering XD
Nah, Didn't have much of a summer, was doing work experience then managed to get my full time job just over a month ago now.
It pays for my habits but yet my bank account still creeps up with money as I'm actually spending less than I earn

Yeah I left my house fairly early and was only on the computer in the morning.

I wouldn't say I've done great work in coding, more on the lines of average work.

I've never really been any good when it came to graphics, I'm just glad I can do some basic work these days, always hated not being able to have my own.  

I'm slowly drifting away from RPG Maker now so my learning curve for coding in that has sort of dipped a lot. I never knew you had a deviantart page until now in all honesty XD. I would try help out a lot more if it didn't come to time. I've been trying to use the time I'm given to learn C# as I wouldn't mind expanding and going into software development, or help someone else out with their engine they've started. 

Thanks for the compliment. Looking back you've improved quite a bit, hopefully will see you one day and thinking, damn, I remember that guy.

regardless of the "kind of work" It is very GOOD work!

I admire it as my "scripting" is very basic and quite mediocre, while my graphic ability is slightly better, haha

the only thing I'd ask for help with would be the pokegear - I have no clue how it works x.X but even still, I probably wouldnt accept anyone's help, hahaha - other than that, I can find tutorials for it and work my way through it (thats what I did with my berry system, and it works great and I feel proud to have finished it myself) 

well...I say "system" but its barely one, its just a continuous event that resets after 75 mins and is any and all berries (including a rare berry that acts as a rare candy)

anyway, enough of that nonsense, I hope you try my game in a few days! I'm planning a pre-release to show off some new things I'm working on (including a sneak taste of the future~)

Whenever I get time I'll definitely try out your game. 

I usually find help to be well, helpful. It just depends on the kind of help and how it's given.

I usually like help that, doesn't do the work for me, but gives me an example to learn and reference from. 

My project is literally covered in reference codes from where I've looked up a function, did a simple test, and debugged any errors with it.

I can't tell how many times I've restarted a code due to how messy it is.

sounds like me with most of graphics and audios - I keep adding more and more but never use the ones I have, so then I take a whole day cleaning it out x.x it was crazy haha, but thanks! I'm not sure if you're working on a game though o-o I heard of you hoping to start a hoenn project but I'm not sure how old that was - regardless, I'd love to try one that isnt terrible (there are hundreds of them that either never get made or are still being worked on)

Yeah still planning to do that, it's the case of getting all my tiles made. But more than likely I'll be lazy on buildings and just use existing ones.

Seems like such a pain trying to make something that gives some kind of resemblance to the original, but creating something that looks new at the same time.

If I put all the content I've made together in all my computers, I'd probably have about 18 games.

It must be nice being able to say you created something, most Of my stuff is mediocre, and yeah I understand - I have trouble when making certain tiles but another problem is trying to get it to flow right with what you already have
