Thanks. =] Sometimes, I really despise my work, actually, because it isn't particularly meant to show creativeness, talent, beauty (morbid or not), or any of the typical things attributed to art, especially poetry. My work is always just an attempt to get what I think and feel sufficiently put into words, and often enough, what I think and feel are very complicated, self-contradicting, burdensome things. Even when I write a poem that is joyful and positive, I can end up looking at it later, despising it because it may have been little more than the result of a manic episode and delusion. Or, I can look at my writing in a bitter-sweet way because things have changed or are changing. My views, feelings, and even states of mind are ever transient, so I can never fully settle down with something I make. Each day it becomes something different to me.

From my point of view, the best art isn't made to show creativeness or something, but to give the artist a way to express himself. It's also the way I create my art, just a way to finally get my feeling sort of sorted out and a way to express myself. The feeling you descripe, about despiting your work later, even when you loved it at first, I really relate to that, but I think thats normal when your art is an expression of your feelings and part of yourself, it's not always nice to look back at those things. Besides, for me the real art is the art where everyone sees something different and I myself can see something different each time I look at it. And from my point of view, your art does that and I think that is a big part of why I like it so much, because it touches me and the things I see, changes by which mood I'm in.Β
