hey jason! glad you like the cup! ;) (Wink) I think I'm staying another year, it's just gone by so fast. Also, I still have things I want to do here, like bike Shikoku, maybe visit tokyo and Hiroshima... I'm up for contract evaluation next month, and july is the end of this contract, so I'll give them some more time. eek, gotta go, work soon!

I get evaluated the first wednesday of next month, and unless they decided I'm absolutely useless (highly unlikely), I will be given a new contract shortly after. contract renewal means a raise of up to (gasp!) $50 a month! and one extra vacation day the next year. gotta go, time to do the ironing :( (Sad)

thanks! yes, I really am a sensei, not of martial arts, but in a school in Japan, teaching english. All teachers, instructors, and doctors here are called sensei, although the order is reversed, and my students call me "Bess-sensei"

Cool, I too am a school teacher but in a primary school. I would love to teach in Japan, I find the whole culture so interesting. I also study Aikido.
