I've actually been meaning too; planned to get to it this week, actually. But the last few days especially have been hell. All of them extremely busy and Wednesday actually being just truly awful.

So I thought I'd get to a bunch of things tonight, but instead I've been trying for the past (literally! Just checked!) three hours and fifteen minutes trying to get Shimejis to work. A simple thing I thought would take maybe ten minutes at the most due to not understanding it has sidetracked me for three hours and fifteen minutes. Java refuses to work to allow it to run.

I have seen the picture though, and it actually did spark several ideas; I'll elaborate when I comment.

Ah, I see.

Oh, those Shimejis... I had a nutty time trying to actually edit mine... I have a skin made for the Mini-Meph for the English version, and a set made for the Japanese ones (with added frames), though I don't understand a lick of Japanese beyond common knowledge, so I either have to click around until I figure "Oh, line number 4 does that..." Or just give up and go back to the English version.

I believe I just used the executable application selection rather than the Java one because I think I recall the Java one being an absolute nightmare to work. Try the application/executable thing instead and see how that works...

Yeah, I know how that is. My father, brother and I all have this insatiable need to get something to work the way we want it to, and won't stop until we learn how. My father, amazing genius in technology here, can pretty much take apart electronics and rebuild them better, hack iPods to have backgrounds that change every page swipe as well as have special sounds for certain actions, crack the coding on discs to learn how to rebuild the program even better or make changes in it, can mod just about any console you can think of, and is currently working on figuring out how to fancy subtitle Blu-Ray anime (already knows DVD anime, and has figured out a code thing to not only stick words there, but change the colors, font, transparencies, and even WHAT they do). My father is a freakin' technology genius, if I'm proud to say so myself. OwO

But still, as with anyone, being stuck on something for hours, when the thing itself looks as thoug it should be simpler than the trouble it's giving you, is pretty frustrating (my god, my Tumblr theme had me shoving through problems for a few hours, before I finally got it where I was satisfied. I want to make a new change now, but it's acting up in the code again, so again... Eeeeargh...). I find that sometimes it helps to just take a break, go get a snack, watch some tv, or just simply go out for a little while before coming back and looking at it again, helps a bit as well. Try again later, maybe..?

I figured you'd like the fact that it's showing a genuine moment where the both of them are very much like kids here. It's cute, not sad or scary, and you still feel like you want to let them know there's nothing to be scared of.

Well... truthfully I've been very unwell and for a good three or so months, but I think I'm now starting to bounce back. Been using the ongoing story I write with one of my best friends for inspiration to help that along. Feels good to draw again. ^^

I haven't done much... I've been working on a little world I made called Wysteria, though at the cost of getting any Mobius progress done... I had a writing spaz, but it died off and now I'm in the locked room now.

Same, sort of; the world my best friend and I have been building (which still needs a name... hardly classifies as being part of the Sonic universe anymore, even though that's where it started... it grew too much...) has taken priority. I've been enjoying it so deeply that my Mobius progress, like yours, has basically gone nowhere. I didn't even have a writing spaz for it.

Sounds interesting!

The only update i ever made for Mobius was Stark and I changed his problem... Instead of his chaos allowing him to cheat death at the cost of his power, instead he was born with a heart disease known as Arrhythmia. It's a heart disease that is like an extreme condition of cardiac arrest... His heart can fatally stop and kill him if he pushes himself to heavily, thus was seen weak by his family and kicked out.
